2006 Five Year Plan
Questions for 2006-2010
1. Briefly describe any new purchases, deletions, and/or hardware upgrades you have made, from July 2004 to now, from your hardware inventory of PC’s, servers, mid-range, and/or mainframes.
· Project any planned purchases by year for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
If you did not supply information in 2004 please supply:
· Total numbers of PC’s that you currently have within the department;
· PC’s per Brand (e.g. 13 Gateway desktop PCs.); and
· Age of your PCS (e.g. 22 @ four years old, 12 @ three years old, etc.)
2. Briefly describe any new purchases, deletions, and/or software upgrades you have made, from July 2004 to now, from your software inventory of word processing, spreadsheets, database, etc.
· Project any planned purchases by year, for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
If you did not supply information in 2004 supply:
· Total number of software licenses you currently have within the department;
· What level/version the software is at for each (e.g. Office XP twelve licenses, Windows XP ten licenses, Windows2000 two licenses, etc.).
· If volume discounts for purchases were available, would you participate?
· How many licenses would you need in the next twelve months? Itemize by brand (e.g., five Microsoft Windows XP licenses; ten Norton anti-virus: etc.)
