HISTORY BUFFS The Engineer's Office would like pictures of old truss bridges that once existed on:
Newtown Road If you have any or know of any that exist please contact Eric Beck at 513-946-8432. Also, do you have photos of old bridges or other structures that were located in Hamilton County, Ohio? Paper photos will not last forever, so we would like to preserve them by scanning those photos and keeping a digital record of them. We would also like to display them on our web site. Full credit will be given and the photos will be returned to you unharmed. It would be helpful if the photos could be positively identified. What is this Bridge? We have an answer! This bridge has been identified as the suspension bridge across the Whitewater River on State Line Road at the southern edge of the City of Harrison. Ann Griessmann has identified the bridge and gave us copies of her photographs for our collection. Thanks Ann. |
