· Light Tower Work: Construction crews are beginning to place lights and canopies onto the light towers. Fans passing by the ball park will now see the lights towering over the superstructure.

Construction Schedule Report: On April 8, project
managers presented a Great American Ball Park construction schedule update
to the Hamilton County Commissioners at the weekly Commission meeting. ° The ball park remains on target for Opening Day 2003. ° The Cincinnati Reds administration building remains on target for a November 2002 occupancy. ° Phase 2 construction of Great American Ball Park is on schedule for Opening Day 2004 completion.

· SBE Numbers Remain Strong: Project managers also released a report outlining the level of Small Business Enterprise participation in the Great American Ball Park project. As of January 31, 2002, a total of 26.8% of all contracted work had been committed to small businesses, which includes any minority- and women-owned businesses that also are classified as small businesses. A further breakdown shows that 12% of contracts went to minority-owned businesses and 3.9% to women-owned business enterprises.

· Safety Update: Through January 31, only four lost workday incidents were reported for the construction of Great American Ball Park and related projects. Even with these incidents, the project lost workday incident rate stands at 1.3, well below the national average of 5.4.
