Quarterly Media Tour: The next quarterly media tour of the Great American Ball Park construction site is scheduled for Friday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. Members of the media should meet at Paddle Wheel Park, located at the intersection of old Broadway and Mehring Way by 12:50 p.m.

Please note that because this is a construction site, media attending the event must be in proper attire. All participants must wear sturdy shoes and long pants. Shorts, skirts, gym shoes and high heels are considered inappropriate attire. The Project Safety Manager reserves the right to deny entry to anyone not properly dressed for the construction site.

All entrants to the construction area must sign a waiver prior to beginning the tour and are required to wear a regulation hard hat while on the site.
 
Construction News: Workers continue to make notable progress on all areas of Great American Ball Park. Following are some highlights.
 
bulletContractors are moving forward with work on hot and cold-water systems, as well as on heaters and chillers.
 
bulletThe Motz Group is continuing preparation work on the field. They are installing the sub grade drainage and irrigation systems. Crews will begin installing the turf at the end of the month.
 
bulletPainters are putting final coats on all finished areas of the ball park.
 
bulletFurniture installers are setting modular furniture in the administration building.
 
bulletThe bullpens have been blacktopped and are ready to receive the artificial turf covering.
 
Community Displays: The Great American Ball Park traveling display, featuring photographs, renderings and riverfront development information, will be on display in the main lobby of the 580 Building, 580 Walnut Street, through September 17.
