ORDER OF REFERENCE - Sup. R. 19

    Pursuant to Traffic Rule 14, the Court hereby orders that magistrates appointed by the Court shall hear in arraignment all particular session traffic cases, and conduct arraignments pursuant to Crim.R. 10 and set bail pursuant to Crim.R. 46 and to hear all post-judgment motions including those cases wherein defendants are charged with violation of those sections listed under Traffic Rule 13; all cases pursuant to Sup. R. 19, any traffic or civil case referred by Judges of the Court either through a particular session or assignment. The magistrates shall report recommendations as to penalties to be imposed under Traffic Rule 14 and Criminal Rule 19, and recommendations as to disposition of default proceedings under Civil Rule 55, forcible entry and detainer proceedings under R.C. Chapter 1923, small claims proceedings under R.C. Chapter 1925 subject to restrictions imposed by law. Magistrates have and shall exercise the power to regulate all proceedings in every hearing before them as if by the Court and to perform all acts and to take all measures necessary as proper for the efficient performance of their duties pursuant to all qualifications of Civil Rule 53, Traffic Rule 14, or Criminal Rule 19.

    
    It is a further order of the Court that magistrates shall file reports with the Court as required pursuant to Civil Rule 53(E).
  

   [Effective July 1, 2001] Magistrates’ orders shall be reviewed and adopted by the Duty Judge pursuant to the Civil & Criminal Rules.
