Rule 10. COST AND FEE SCHEDULES
10.01 SCHEDULE OF COSTS OF TRANSCRIPTS
Pursuant to R.C. 1901.26, the compensation for transcripts made in criminal cases
for appeals by request of the prosecuting attorney or the court, and copies of decisions
and charges furnished by direction of the court, shall be paid from the county treasury
and taxed and collected as other costs.
The Judge of the Municipal Court shall certify the amount of such
transcripts or copies which shall be presented to the court administrator for processing.
Such certification shall be a sufficient voucher to the County Auditor who shall forthwith
draw his warrants upon the County Treasury in favor of such shorthand reporters, provided
the court is allotted sufficient funds to cover such costs.
In the event that a transcript of official shorthand notes is requested
in either a civil or criminal case the fee allowable for such services pursuant to
Revised Code § 2301.24
shall be as follows:
(a) Regular delivery................$2.10 per page (b) 5 day delivery......................$2.40 per page (c) Overnight delivery.............$3.00 per page (d) The fee for copies shall be $ .75 per page
(e) There shall be a $ .15 premium added for transcript of tape recorded proceedings.
The fee for an ASCII
disk or disks when purchased in addition to one paper transcript shall be 75 cents per
page of printed transcript.
The fee for an ASCII disk or disks when purchased in addition to two or
more paper transcripts of the same material shall be $50.00 for transcripts of
1000 pages
or less and no charge for transcript of 1000 pages or more.

No one shall be
released on charges of Domestic Violence, Menacing by Stalking or Violation of
TPO
2919.27, RC
2903.13, 2903.21, 2917.31, 2919.22 or 2923.12, or for violation of
Bond conditions of EMU/Juris Monitor, pending review for bond setting by a Judge of The
Hamilton County Municipal Court.
The Room A Judge shall be responsible for review and setting of all
bonds on defendants scheduled for the Room A docket as well as all bond settings
during states of emergency, if declared by City or County authorities, which
includes scheduling of special arraignment dockets if deemed necessary.
During times of emergency, all local rules and the standard Bond Schedule remain
in effect unless suspended by the Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court.
