
Hamilton County is situated in the extreme southwestern
corner of the State of Ohio and covers an area of 414 square miles. Within the County are
37 municipalities, including 21 cities and 16 villages and 12 townships. Hamilton County
is the third largest in the State in terms of population. The 2000
Census gives the population at 845,268. Specific demographic

Located on the Ohio River, the
Cincinnati metropolitan area includes Hamilton, Warren, Clermont, Brown, and Butler
Counties in Ohio, Dearborn and Ohio Counties in Indiana, and Kenton, Campbell, Gallatin,
Grant, Pendleton, and Boone Counties across the river in Kentucky.
