Judge Lee H. Hildebrandt, Jr

Judge Lee H. Hildebrandt, Jr. was elected to the Court in 1984 at the age of 37. He was re-elected in 1990, 1996, and again in 2008.

Judge Hildebrandt received his B.A. degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1969, and his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo in 1972. Upon admission to the bar in 1972, Judge Hildebrandt was in private practice until he became an Assistant Hamilton County Prosecutor in 1978. He then served as a Referee in the Domestic Relations Court until taking his seat on the Appellate Bench.

Judge Hildebrandt has been and continues to be active in numerous professional and community organizations. He currently serves as a member of the Supreme Court of Ohio's Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline and he is a Board Member of The Lawyers’ Club of Cincinnati. He is also the past Chief Justice of the Ohio Court of Appeals Judges Association, past President of the Lawyers Club of Cincinnati, and he served as a member of the Board of Trustees of ProKids of Cincinnati for nearly 15 years. Judge Hildebrandt and his wife, Barbara, live in Cincinnati.
