![]() Judge William L. MalloryJudge William L. Mallory Jr. was appointed to the First District Court of Appeals in 2009 by Governor Ted Strickland. Prior to his appointment, he was a judge on both the Hamilton County Municipal and Common Pleas Courts. Judge William L. Mallory Jr. was first elected judge of the Hamilton County Municipal Court in 1993. He served on the Municipal Court Bench until he was elected to the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas in 2006. Prior to taking office, Judge Mallory worked as an Assistant Ohio Attorney General and an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and Assistant Solicitor for the City of Cincinnati. He worked in private practice for a small law firm prior to taking the bench in 1994. Judge William L. Mallory Jr. received his B.A. degree from the University of Cincinnati and his J.D. degree from Chase College of Law.
