Gray v. City of Detroit (March 1, 2005) (Appeal from E.D. Mich.)

Estate of Mark Gray sued the city of Detroit under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 after the suicide of Gray while in pre-trial custody.  The district court granted summary judgment to the defendants.  The estate appealed.  Affirmed, because police officer did not know Gray was suicidal and city's suicide policies were constitutionally adequate.
