The district court granted summary judgment to the state of Tennessee in a suit brought by Lenscrafters and other optical companies and trade groups. They opposed a state statute barring their leasing space to optometrists to perform exams in their retail stores.  Affirmed, that statute was not purposefully discriminatory (commerce clause) in origin or effect, nor did it violate the Equal Protection or Due Process Clause.
