USA v. Dixon   (March 8, 2007) (Appeal from M.D. Tenn)
http://www.ca6.uscourts.gov/opinions.pdf/07a0094p-06.pdf
-  Ronnie Joe Dixon appeals the judgment entered on August 18, 2005, by
the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
He argues that his attorney misinformed him regarding the maximum period
of imprisonment possible in the event of a conviction, thereby rendering
his subsequent guilty plea constitutionally invalid. He also appeals the
denial of his motion to withdraw his guilty plea, arguing that he
possesses a fair and just reason for withdrawing his plea and that the
district court erred in denying his motion. We affirm the judgment of
the district court.
