Community Eligibility

Cities with populations under 50,000 persons in the County are invited to participate in the County program and receive federal funds for local projects through the CD application filed by the Board of County Commissioners. Townships are automatically included in the program unless they indicate otherwise, but municipalities must enter into agreements of cooperation with the County in order to participate. Presently, 28 municipalities and 12 townships are participating in the County program.
