ARRAIGNMENT AND BONDS

Criminal arraignment takes place in Courtroom 585 every week on Thursday and Friday. Holidays may change that schedule and questions concerning that should be directed to the Assignment Commissioner 946-5930.

Lock up defendants are arraigned on Thursday mornings beginning at 8:10 via a video hookup with the Hamilton County Justice Center. This means that attorneys representing clients who are locked up must appear in Room 585, but that their clients remain in the Hamilton County Justice Center. When appearing for such defendants, attorneys should stand behind the lectern so that their client may hear them speak.

Non lock up defendants and other lock up defendants that didn’t make the Thursday morning arraignment, are arraigned on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. in Room 585.
