Welcome to the Hamilton County
Department of Administrative Services, Budget & Research Division.
The Budget and Research division is responsible for the
review of departmental budget requests and preparing the County Administrator's
recommendation for submission to the Board of County Commissioners. The Budget division
reviews departmental requests for transfers and supplemental appropriations throughout the
year, assists departments in monitoring budget activity and completes a variety of special
projects throughout the year for the County Administrator and the Board of County

The Research section provides information as requested. In most cases,
statutory authority is reviewed and surveys may be conducted to determine feasibility of a
proposed activity.
