NOTICE OF PROPOSED LOCAL RULE AMENDMENT TITLE X GUARDIANS AD LITEM

In compliance with Ohio Rules of Superintendence 48 Guardians Ad Litem, you are advised of the proposed Local Rule Title X Guardians Ad Litem amendment. This Local Rule shall become effective January 1, 2010. 

Comments regarding the proposed local rule amendment will be received by the Court through November 25, 2009, and shall be directed to Court Administrator, Lisa Dwenger via e-mail at ldwenger@cms.hamilton-co.org.

Notice of Local Rule 1.26 Amendment: Mandatory Disclosure Order

Effective 10-1-09, Local Rule 1.26 Mandatory Disclosure Order has been amended to allow for the utilization of a previously signed and imaged Administrative Judge’s Order to replace an individually signed and captioned Mandatory Disclosure Order.  This amendment has been implemented to remove any unnecessary delay in filing new actions for divorce, legal separation or annulment. 

The Administrative Judge's Order may be retrieved from Local Rule 1.26 and under the Forms and Procedures tab by clicking on any reference to DR Form 1.26.

NOTICE OF AMENDED LOCAL RULE XVI - WITHDRAWAL OF ATTORNEY:

The Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas, Division of Domestic Relations, hereby gives notice of the adoption of amended Local Rule XVI Withdrawal of Attorney .  The notable revision is the Court’s acknowledgment of a client discharging counsel as an extraordinary circumstance. This rule shall become effective July 6, 2009.

NOTICE OF AMENDED LOCAL RULE 2.9 MANDATORY PARENTING EDUCATION CLASS:

The Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas, Division of Domestic Relations, hereby gives notice of the adoption of amended Local Rule 2.9 Mandatory Parenting Education Class effective June 1, 2009.

Of importance to note is the requirement of both petitioners for a Dissolution of Marriage to provide proof of attendance at the Court’s mandatory parenting class “Helping Your Children Cope With    Divorce” prior to filing the Petition For Dissolution action.

CASH MEDICAL SUPPORT ORDER:

Please be advised that pursuant to O.R.C. 3119.302, the Court has implemented the new Cash Medical Support Order procedure. Beginning Monday, May 11, 2009 the Court will actively enforce the requirements of O.R.C. 3119.302, even though the notice indicates May 4,2009. As a professional courtesy, the Court will allow a grace period of an additional week in order for everyone to become fully educated with this new procedure.
