Judge Elizabeth Mattingly
Elizabeth
B. Mattingly has served as Judge of the Domestic Relations Division of
the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas since December 2006. From 1996
to December 2006, Judge Mattingly was a Judge of the Hamilton County Municipal
Court. She has presided over thousands of trials and jury trials
in both criminal and civil cases. She was a founding judge
of the Mental Health docket in that court. Prior to 1996, Judge
Mattingly worked for 9 ½ years as an Assistant United States Attorney
for the Southern District of Ohio.
Judge
Mattingly received her Bachelor of Art's degree, summa cum laude from Canisius
College in 1975 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame
in 1975. She was a member of Leadership Cincinnati Class XXIV, has been
a trustee of the Cincinnati Bar Foundation, and has participated in numerous
community activities. Judge Mattingly has lived in Colerain Township for
over thirty years. She is married and the mother of four children, three
sons and one daughter. |
