Out in Left Field:
Anyone on or near
the Great American Ball Park job site during the past week surely noticed
the remarkable progress crews have made in the left field structure.
Crews have begun to install the steel framework of the scoreboard,
and the left field light tower bases are clearly visible as they grow
skyward. The remainder of the
scoreboard framework will be installed this week.
The remaining steel framing is currently staged in the area of what
will one day be left field. Below the scoreboard, crews have completed
the installation of pre-cast concrete seating risers which will support
the left field stands. Risers
are also now in place along the third base line. |
