Play-By-Play

 

Construction News: Crews continue to make marked progress on all areas of Great American Ball Park. Following are a few activities underway:
 
bulletRibbon scoreboards have been installed along the north end of the ballpark, between the middle and upper decks.
bulletThe foul poles were installed over the weekend. Each pole weighs 8,325 pounds and measures 90 feet from the field surface.
bulletThe Great American Ball Park sign also was installed over the weekend. The sign will be posted atop the main scoreboard.
bulletWorkers are finishing up on the field wall and dugouts. The Motz Group and the Cincinnati Reds will begin field installation work on August 1.
bulletConcrete work on the diamond club and front row seating sections has been completed. Workers will begin installing seats in August.
bulletTicket windows are being formed on the west side of the Reds Administration Building.

 
Fun Fact: Great American Ball Park will have 27 ticket windows. There will be 22 ticket-selling locations located along the Reds Administration Building. There also will be five ticket booths atop the stairs facing Broadway, on the northeast corner of the Terrace level of the ball park.

Community Displays: The Great American Ball Park project team continues to display the architectural model as well as a traveling display featuring photos and artist renderings of riverfront development. Both displays are scheduled this week at the following:

° Traveling Display:
        Scripps Center, 312 Walnut Street, through August 6.
° Model Display:
        Hamilton County Fair, 7801 Anthony Wayne, July 31-August 4.
