Play-By-Play

Picture Day: On Tuesday, January 14, from 3:00-4:00 p.m., the Great American Ball Park project team will host another media opportunity for still and video photographers. This month’s Picture Day will give photographers the chance to see Great American Ball Park from the southeastern portion of the outfield, next to the Batter’s Eye facility, and photograph construction on the home run celebration and the ongoing demolition of Cinergy Field.

As with every Picture Day opportunity, proper attire for those attending is required. Individuals wearing dresses, skirts, high heels, open-toed shoes or gym shoes will not be allowed onto the job site. Participants must wear long pants and hard-soled shoes to take part in the event. Prior to entering, individuals are required to sign a waiver. Everyone must wear a hard hat throughout the duration of his or her time in the construction zone. The Project Safety Manager reserves the right to deny entry to anyone not dressed properly for the work site.

Construction News: Following are some current Great American Ball Park construction highlights:

bulletWorkers are now beginning with the initial construction stages for the Reds home run celebration feature.
