Invitation to Bid Issued for Demolition of Cinergy Field

Cincinnati, June 15, 2000 - The Board of County Commissioners of Hamilton County has issued an Invitation to Bid for the demolition of Cinergy Field. Sealed bids are due to the Board of Commissioners by noon on Tuesday, June 27, 2000. Contracts for the demolition work will be awarded by July 5, 2000.

There are three phases to the demolition:

· Phase I: demolition of the parking garage areas east of the stadium beginning August 2000.

· Phase II: demolition of the outfield seating areas of the stadium beginning after the completion of the 2000 baseball season.

· Phase III: demolition of the remainder of Cinergy Field beginning after the completion of the 2002 baseball season.
