Hamilton County Web Site Adds Link to
Great American Ball Park Web Camera
Cincinnati, May 17, 2001 - Hamilton County today announced that a link to a Web camera focused on the Great American Ball Park construction site has been added to the Hamilton County Web site www.hamilton-co.org.
The camera, which is mounted on the 19th floor balcony of the Atrium One Building at 201 East Fourth Street, provides an elevated view of the work site. The image updates hourly during daylight hours, offering Reds fans and construction aficionados anywhere in the world the chance to monitor progress on the project from the comfort of their homes and offices.
"We are excited that the public now has access to images of the ball park as it rises out of the ground," said Arnie Rosenberg, project director for Parsons Brinckerhoff. "This is a great way for fans to take part in the transition from one era of baseball to another."
Great American Ball Park, the new home of the Cincinnati Reds, is scheduled to open in April 2003. Until then, fans can log on for a view of what promises to be one of the most spectacular parks in professional sports.
