Hamilton County faces serious fiscal challenges. Since 2000, the amount of revenue coming into the County’s general fund has declined significantly.
The Board of Commissioners is determined to reverse these trends. To assist them in this process, they appointed the Competition and Efficiency Committee to help institute a competitive process for County services and to identify other cost-saving initiatives.
The Commission is modeled on successful efforts in places like Indianapolis, Charlotte and Phoenix.
