A Public Meeting was held on Monday July 9, 2007 to present and receive feedback on the Oasis Riverfront Rail Transit alignment alternatives between the Montgomery Inn Boathouse area and the Riverfront Transit Center. This potential connection is the first segment of the proposed Oasis Rail Transit line that was identified in the Eastern Corridor Plan as the route for rail transit. The entire alignment is proposed to extend from downtown Cincinnati to Milford and was included in the Eastern Corridor Tier I Record of Decision (ROD). It will provide transit service connecting important employment and entertainment centers in Cincinnati with eastern neighborhoods and communities. Comments must be made by July 23, 2007.
