Hamilton County Juvenile Court, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, has jurisdiction over many juvenile-related matters, including delinquency, unruly and traffic charges, dependency, abuse and neglect allegations, and certain custody, visitation and child support matters.
The Court has four locations:
Judges' Office (800 Broadway) - hosts the Clerk's office, probation and administrative offices, and holds most of the Court hearings.
The Youth Center (2020 Auburn Avenue) - a 160-bed secure placement facility for youths awaiting adjudication or transfer to other facilities. The Youth Center provides a 24-hour complaint processing office and holds the plea hearings for youths being housed at the facility. It also houses girls in the Multidimensional Assessment Program (MAP).
Hillcrest Training School (246 Bonham Road) - a 118-bed correctional/treatment facility for adjudicated youths, providing educational and rehabilitative services to placed youths, and Aftercare supervision to youths who have completed the residential program. Hillcrest also houses boys in the Multidimensional Assessment Program (MAP).
Work Detail (264 William Howard Taft) - supervises youths performing Court-ordered community service.
