Judge Nadine Allen brings a variety of experiences to her 20 year service on the Hamilton County Municipal Court. From this judicial experience, she has earned a reputation as firm but fair. She is currently the Senior Judge on the bench.
Judge Allen broke many barriers and obstacles in her 1987 and 1989 elections. In
Her initiatives to: increase alcohol/drug treatment; sponsor the License Intervention Program; propose Jail Alternatives; expand Diversion programs; simplify the Expungement process; revise court procedures, and train new Magistrates have improved the quality of the administration of justice in Hamilton County. She currently performs Weddings in the French, Spanish and Italian languages for the public benefit.

on the Boards of the Innocence Project

She has been honored with many awards including "Who's Who" in American Law, YWCA "Career Woman of Achievement, Cincinnati Women's Political Caucus "Woman of the Year," Phi Delta Kappa's "Outstanding Woman of the Year", The Sentinnels Outstanding Achievement, and others.
Judge Allen is active in professional and community organizations, including the National Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Assoc., Black Lawyers Association of Cincinnati, the Coalition Against Domestic Violence, NAACP, Jack & Jill of America, Inc., OSU Alumni Board, and others. She is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Drifters, Inc.
Judge Allen frequently speaks to civic, community, youth groups, Christian and women's groups. She is a member of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and taught in the Children's Church. She also serves on its Board of Trustees, and chairs the Voter Education Committee. Judge Allen is also a co-founder of a multicultural, diverse worship service called Mosaic Life Ministries.
