NON-PROFIT SERVICES

Hamilton County receives funding from HUD in the community Block Grant Program each year. In 2022, the county received ~$3.4 Million. This money is used to benefit low to moderate-income households & areas, create economic opportunities, provide safe & secure housing, and improve living environments for communities and residents.

A portion of this is set aside each programmatic year for Social Services. Each Spring, an RFP process is begun to award these funds to non-profit social service providers that meet the objectives in the County’s 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan set forth here.

All contracts will be awarded to the non-profit entity whose proposal is most advantageous to the program with price and other factors considered.

Non-profit entities that wish to submit a proposal must do so through the Neighborly software application.

Check back here for information on the RFP when available.
