Purpose:
The Hamilton County Board of Commissioners established the office of Economic Inclusion (EIAC) to promote inclusion in County procurement and County employment practices for all people of Hamilton County regardless of race, gender, disability, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity. The Advisory Council was created to assist the Office of Economic Inclusion and other relevant County departments in achieving the County's goals for economic inclusion.
Establishing Authority:
The EIAC was established by Resolution by the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners in May of 2017 and members were selected and appointed in July 2017. For more information, view the Resolution establishing the Economic Inclusion Advisory Council (EIAC).
Terms:
Council members were assigned staggered terms of 1, 2, or 3 years. All are eligible for a second term of 3 years.
